Donohue Is Honored

U.S. Chamber President and CEO Tom Donohue (center) and AFL-CIO President John Sweeney (left) were each awarded the Distinguished Service Award by the National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse (CASA) at Columbia University  in New York City.

CASA, founded in 1992 by former U.S. Secretary of Health, Education, and Welfare Joseph A. Califano Jr. (right), is a nonprofit organization that educates Americans about the economic and social costs of substance abuse and its impact on lives. It also aims to remove the stigma of substance abuse treatment.
