The Road to Prosperity

U.S. Chamber President and CEO Tom Donohue kicked off a multimillion-dollar nationwide grassroots and advocacy campaign on March 20 in Lansing, Michigan. The campaign will build support for additional investment in America's deteriorating transportation infrastructure and highlight the link between a robust infrastructure and increased overseas trading opportunities. "We have to wake up to our growing infrastructure challenges," Donohue said. "We cannot grow our economy, create more jobs, and export our products to the rest of the world if our airports and ports are congested and our roads and bridges are crumbling."

Besides Lansing, events will be held in Pittsburgh, New Haven, Raleigh, Las Vegas, New Orleans, and Orlando.
