2008 Outlook

 

U.S. Chamber President and CEO Tom Donohue fields questions from some of the 106 reporters who attended the Chamber's State of American Business press conference on January 8. Characterizing America as "at a crossroads" and facing many competitive challenges, Donohue outlined the Chamber's policy and voter education agendas for 2008 and offered an overview of the Chamber's five-year plan to expand the organization's membership and financial base, become more global, and strengthen its nationwide grassroots program.
